Could these recent headlines be related to global warming?

Are the same hawks who are denying that the planet is warming, the same people who stand to get rich by virtue of the receding frost line and new access to arctic oil deposits?

Worse yet – what if there is an actual deliberate effort to keep us burning fossil fuels, keep us dependent upon oil and industry, in order to hasten the melting so that they can start mining for oil and other resources up there even sooner?

Think of it – the deliberate sacrifice of animals which will perish once their ecosystems are destroyed. The sacrifice of entire species of animals, all for the sake of purposely changing our global climate – in order to make a buck. This would not surprise me.

What if, along with the effort to keep people hooked on consumption so that the planet will warm up and we can get out the rest of the oil stuck in the cold parts, there are also other efforts to warm it up? What if rockets returning to the atmosphere are releasing some substance which accelerates the burning of the ozone layer, just to hasten the whole thing along, so that they can dig out the thawed up ground already to get at the oil?

Hey! Another idea …. what if weather magicians are also contributing, doing their collective “sun dances” all over the earth, having been asked to do this by the nuttier money-crazy hawks? Well, it could happen ….

Let’s see … evidence? Has the monied set been selling off coastal properties? Have they started lowering their prices to unload these coastal properties sooner, knowing that through their efforts it won’t be too much longer before sea levels start rising, and more storms start happening?

Wow. I can really picture this, a concerted, many-pronged effort to warm up our atmosphere as quickly as possible, while denying that warming is even happening; saying “bye bye” to many creatures permanently, never to be seen again – just so that the people who are poised to make money off of natural resources can move right in and scoop the new stuff up – within their own lifetimes. They could be determined to pull this thing off before they personally die, doing whatever they can to have the permafrost recede closer to the poles, within 25 years. If this was true, could they actually pull it off?

The only way to thwart this – if it was true (which is certainly a stretch, must be ….. people couldn’t really do this could they?) – would be to green up your life. Reduce your ecological footprint and the footprints of your community, fight this thing!!!!

    According to a 1960 CIA report, national governments were already able to manipulate weather for military purposes.

    From a recent Air Force study. “Assuming that in 2025 our national security strategy includes weather-modification, its use in our national military strategy will naturally follow. Besides the significant benefits an operational capability would provide, another motivation to pursue weather-modification is to deter and counter potential adversaries,” the report stated. “The technology is there, waiting for us to pull it all together,” the authors noted.

    In 2025, the report summarized, U.S. aerospace forces can “own the weather” by capitalizing on emerging technologies and focusing development of those technologies to war-fighting applications.

    “Such a capability offers the war fighter tools to shape the battlespace in ways never before possible. It provides opportunities to impact operations across the full spectrum of conflict and is pertinent to all possible futures,” the report concluded.

    Climate technology has grown exponentially in the past 48 years. With the use of military plans to seed the atmosphere and the use of contrails, I do not think your “theory” is that far fetched.

    Thanks for that info on the activities of the U.S. military in controlling weather patterns. In fact, the HAARP array in Alaska emits electromagnetic pulses (EMP) with the help of outer-space relay stations. Storms can actually be caused with sudden drops in air pressure caused by EMP. Climatology evidence apparently also shows that in earthquake-sensitive zones, sudden air pressure drops and severe storms can trigger earthquake activity. Controlling the weather has been the stated objective of the U.S. military since the late 1960s. I had never put that together with global warming before now, however yes – it is not all that far fetched at all. Scary stuff.
