The Kassandra Project

We don’t know if it’s a political strategy or anything else, but we think this is true. In “Hill Briefed on Waterboarding in 2002“, by Joby Warrick and Dan Eggen, Washington Post Staff Writers, Sunday, December 9, 2007, we read

In September 2002, four members of Congress met in secret for a first look at a unique CIA program designed to wring vital information from reticent terrorism suspects in U.S. custody. For more than an hour, the bipartisan group, which included current House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), was given a virtual tour of the CIA’s overseas detention sites and the harsh techniques interrogators had devised to try to make their prisoners talk.

Among the techniques described, said two officials present, was waterboarding, a practice that years later would be condemned as torture by Democrats and some Republicans on Capitol Hill. But on that day, no objections were raised. Instead, at least two lawmakers in the room asked the CIA to push harder, two U.S. officials said.

Was/Is this USA’s politics about war against terror?

In “CIA’s Harsh Interrogation Techniques Described“, by BRIAN ROSS and RICHARD ESPOSITO, Nov. 18, 2005 , the writer spoke about this topic:

Harsh interrogation techniques authorized by top officials of the CIA have led to questionable confessions and the death of a detainee since the techniques were first authorized in mid-March 2002, ABC News has been told by former and current intelligence officers and supervisors.

They say they are revealing specific details of the techniques, and their impact on confessions, because the public needs to know the direction their agency has chosen. All gave their accounts on the condition that their names and identities not be revealed. Portions of their accounts are corrobrated by public statements of former CIA officers and by reports recently published that cite a classified CIA Inspector General’s report…

but no one listened to it. And yet in “C.I.A. Expands Its Inquiry Into Interrogation Tactics“, By DOUGLAS JEHL and DAVID JOHNSTON, New York Times, 29 August 2004.

And USA would want to be a model of liberal society? Maybe we are seeing something bad and these acts aren’t a grave violation of human rights!

Who is the terrorist?

The Kassandra Project

We received a lot of e-mails about the animals’ torture for the pleasure of men who sell their furs. Images and videos shock us and we want to help movement as furisdead.com with our articles.

Who is the real animal? We don’t suggest these videos to people under 18 years old or too sensible.

In furisdead.com we read: “The fur ads you might see in magazines and commercials portray fur coats as a symbol of elegance. But these ads fail to show how the original owners of these coats met their gruesome deaths.

Millions of fur-bearing animals including foxes, raccoons, minks, coyotes, bobcats, lynxes, opossums, nutria, beavers, muskrats, otters, and others are killed each year on fur farms by anal and vaginal electrocution and in the wild by drowning, trapping, or beating .”

and

“…Ranch-raised foxes are kept in cages only 2.5 feet square (minks in cages 1-foot-by-3-feet), with up to four animals per cage…”

“…Animals can languish in traps for days. Up to 1 out of every 4 trapped animals escapes by chewing off his or her own feet, only to die later from blood loss, fever, gangrene, or predation….”

“…Every year, thousands of dogs, cats, raptors, and other so-called “trash” animals (including endangered species like the bald eagle) are crippled or killed by traps…”

“…To kill the animals without damaging their fur, trappers usually strangle, beat, or stomp them to death. Animals on fur farms may be gassed, electrocuted, poisoned with strychnine, or have their necks snapped. These methods are not 100 percent effective and some animals “wake up” while being skinned…”

We cannot call “man” who is able to do this horrible massacre, these tortures.
Overall we cannot call “women” who is able to dress furs.

You can read more about The State of the Fur Industry in their website and you can take action by filling their form to Stop a Barbaric Baby Seal Slaughter.

We want to report peta.org where you can find more about this topic.

If you want to know more about this, we suggest our Kassandra TV about animals tortured and killed.
